Three different types of ASP baton training Certification Available
ASP BASIC CERTIFICATION (ABC)*
ASP INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION (AIC)*
This advanced certification program is designed to acquaint participants with operational use of the ASP Tactical Baton, Tactical Restraints and Performance Flashlights and train them to conduct ASP Basic Certification (ABC) Programs. AIC Training includes all information and techniques provided in the ABC Program, with the addition of ASP Instructional techniques. Successful completion of the AIC Program certifies that the individual officer has met a competency-based standard of knowledge, has mastered performance skills, and has the ability to instruct ABC classes.
ASP TRAINER CERTIFICATION (ATC)*
This program trains individuals to conduct ASP Instruction Certification (AIC). ASP Certified Trainers are highly skilled baton, restraint and flashlight instructors, authorized by Armament Systems and Procedures to conduct AIC Programs. These Trainers have demonstrated their ability through completion of a rigorous competency-based program involving knowledge of ASP technical data, performance skills and instruction of ASP classes.
Military Support

expanding functions require new technologies and new skill sets. To fulfill these new missions, forces from the US military to the UN have turned to ASP for the
intermediate force designs required in the international policing environment.
BATONS Available in 60 configurations to meet all mission requirements. ASP Friction Loc® Batons are available in three lengths (16, 21, 26) with four shaft options (Airweight®, Black Chrome, Chrome, Electroless®) and three grip styles (DuraTec®, Foam, Wavemaster). Fusion Batons present a combined weapon system. Specialized Grip and Leverage Caps increase retention and striking potential. SideBreak®, Federal®and Duty Scabbards secure a retracted or expanded baton.
Talon Batons release without impact. These manual closing impact weapons are available in 40, 50 and 60 cm lengths with either Cap or Button closures. The 12 baton variations are available in either Airweight or K Coat configurations. The Envoy Scabbard is MOLLE compatible. It allows a baton to be simultaneously closed and cased.
RESTRAINTS The field proven standard for special operators, ASP Tri-Folds® are the most compact and secure disposable restraints on the market. They are conveniently carried and rapidly applied. Restraints are easily removed with the compound leverage of the Scarab® Cutter.
LIGHTS The ergonomic actuator of ASP LED products forms the foundation of ASP tactical flashlights. Designs are brighter, cleaner and whiter than any competitor with tactical features never before seen in handheld lights. From the traditional form factor of the Triad® to the compact profile of the Tungsten,® ASP LEDs have set a new standard for tactical illumination.
